Terms and Conditions
These Terms of Service ("Terms") cover your use and access to the site “thetravelworkshop.com". They also cover “The Travel Workshop Free”, “The Travel Workshop Premium”, “Standard Itinerary Planning” and “Deluxe Itinerary Planning” (collectively, the "Services") provided by The Travel Workshop.
By accessing our site and using our services, you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions.
Please read the following terms carefully to understand your rights.
1.1.Our services are not intended to be used by anyone under the age of 16. By using our services, you represent that you are at least 16.
1.2.We never ask for personal information unless it is necessary for us to provide you the “services”.
1.3.We never share your information unless it facilitates us in providing the “services” you’ve signed up for.
1.4.When you sign up for any of the “services”, we may collect information about yourself. How this information may be used is listed below.
1.4.1.By signing up to The Travel Workshop, Free or Premium, filling out the Travel Questionnaire, or sending us an email directly, you allow us to store your email for further communication and/or future deals and promotions.
1.4.2.Information we may need includes but is not limited to your name, email address and phone number. We use this information to process payments. We do not deal with payment information, we use trusted, third-party payment processors “Stripe” and “Paypal” to ensure your security.
1.4.3.If you communicate with us, these messages will be stored indefinitely, to help provide the services.
1.4.4.Personal details you provide us with will be deleted once your subscription has been terminated, or at the end of our contracted working period (detailed in these terms).
1.4.5.You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time.
1.4.6.To cancel your Premium subscription, you must email us at email@example.com, and include your unique Premium customer reference number.
1.4.7.If you cancel your membership of The Travel Workshop Premium, once your subscription period has ended, you will be automatically downgraded to The Travel Workshop Free, from which you can unsubscribe at any time.
1.5.We work with third-parties to facilitate the design of itineraries, and to provide our subscription services. For example, we use third-parties to organise our mailing list and send emails on our behalf. These third parties may store your information to provide these services for us, and are only authorised to perform the tasks we allow them to. By using said third-parties, we require them to have the same concern for security.
1.6.If the company is ever re-organised, merged, or our assets are acquired or sold, your information may be transferred as part of that agreement.
1.7.We use to HTTPS encryption to ensure our website is as secure as possible. To take payments, we use trusted, third-party payment processors, so that your payments are as secure as possible.
1.8.Whilst The Travel Workshop is based in the UK, your information may pass through foreign servers to provide you the best possible service.
3.1.Membership of The Travel Workshop Free comes with no obligations on our behalf. You reserve the right to unsubscribe at any time.
3.2.Membership of The Travel Workshop Premium entitles you to a minimum of one email per week. We are not accountable for your not receiving this email, nor any of the information contained within it. You reserve the right to cancel at any time. If you cancel your subscription by emailing us, you will be downgraded to The Travel Workshop Free at the end of your paid period. You will then need to unsubscribe from our mailing list.
3.3.Our services with you, the client, will terminate after the successful completion of your Guaranteed Finalised Itinerary for Standard Itinerary Planning.
3.4.Our services with you, the client, will terminate after your holiday has ended for Deluxe Itinerary planning.
3.5.We do not book flights, and we are not liable if your flight is cancelled.
3.6.We cannot be held liable if the recommendations we have made do not fulfil requirements.
3.7.We cannot be held liable if you miss a booking, nor if you are denied entry to an activity, tour or restaurant reservation you have booked.
3.8.We cannot be held liable for any damage to, theft of or loss of property during your trip.
3.9.We are not responsible for the content of any links supplied to third-party websites.
3.10. Deluxe Terms
3.10.1.Alternative Itinerary Design is issued to be used within reason. Maximum two different itineraries per travel day per group.
3.10.2.On-Trip Support - if support is required, you must allow up to 12 hours for a response. This is not intended for use in an emergency, and you must contact the relevant local authority.
4.1.In order to access The Travel Workshop Premium, Standard Itinerary Planning and Deluxe Itinerary Planning, a fee will be charged.
4.2.By making your payment, you are contracting our services.
4.3.If you don’t pay for the services on time, we reserve the right to cancel our agreement.
4.4.You may cancel the services you have contracted. However, a refund on the services you have used until that point will not be refunded.
4.4.1.Itinerary Planning: Full payment for Standard and Deluxe Itinerary Planning services will be charged, and have to be paid in full before we begin work together. If you have contacted us, but not yet contracted our services, and our fees are changed, you will be charged the new fees.
4.4.2.The Travel Workshop: Full payment for The Travel Workshop Premium will be charged and must be paid in full before you start receiving Premium emails. We reserve the right to change our fees at any time - if we change the fees during a contract, you will have a 6 month grace period before the new fees apply to you.
4.5.The Travel Workshop Free is free.
4.6.Fees for The Travel Workshop Premium are as follows:
4.6.1.Annual: £15 per year.
4.6.2.Semi-Annual: £12 every six months.
4.6.3.Monthly: £3 per month.
4.7.Fees for Standard Itinerary planning services are £15 per planned day.
4.8.Fees for Deluxe Itinerary Planning services are £25 per planned day.
4.9.More information about payment is available within these terms.
5.1.Offers and competitions are carried out at the sole discretion of The Travel Workshop, and are strictly valid between the dates that are set out in the offer or competition details.
5.2.We have the right to withdraw any offer or competition at any time, and have the right to withdraw its application on an individual basis, no exceptions.
5.3.The Travel Workshop Premium includes one free planned travel day in either of our Itinerary Planning packages, and is strictly for members with a Yearly subscription. Only one free day is allowed per trip, and up to three free days can be redeemed per year.
5.3.1.This cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash, vouchers or any other form of payment.
5.3.2.We have the right to withdraw this offer at any time, and have the right to withdraw its application on an individual basis, no exceptions.
6.1.First payment must be made within 10 days of contracting our services. If payment is not made, our contract is ended. You may re-contract our services, but payment must be made within 10 days.
6.2.If you fall outside the 10 days and our fees change, we reserve the right to charge you the new fees.
6.4.By agreeing to these “Terms", you agree to pay us the fee set out by the service you choose.
6.5.We reserve the right to correct any errors or mistakes, even if payment has already been requested or received.
6.6.If payment is not made, we reserve the right to discontinue working with you (itinerary planning) or send you further Premium subscriber emails.
6.7.Refunds will not be issued except in our sole discretion, or if legally required.
7.Your Final Itinerary
7.1.We reserve the right to use your finished final itinerary as a sample in the future for free.
8.1.Issues can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
8.2.All issues will receive a response within a month of receipt.
8.3.No class actions - only issues on an individual basis.
8.4.We are not liable for your legal fees.
8.5.We are not liable for any issues experienced during your trip.
9.Our Intellectual Property
9.1.The Travel Workshop is owned by Benjamin Ward and Jordan Atkinson. The services offered are protected by UK and foreign laws. These terms don’t grant you any right, title or interest in our services offered or our intellectual property.
9.2.Our provision of samples is for private use only. Samples cannot be redistributed without our written consent.
9.3.You do not own any part of the information sent to you via our subscription service.
9.4.Your final itinerary cannot be sold or redistributed without our written consent.
10. Automatic Renewal
10.1.To end automatic renewal, you must email email@example.com at least 3 working days before the expiration of your subscription.
11.1.This agreement is in effect until terminated by us or by the end of our contracted working time with you, the client.
12.1.We do not provide warranty disclaimers. The Travel Workshop makes no warranty that our services will be timely, uninterrupted or error-free, meet your requirements or expectations, or be virus free.
13.1.We reserve the right to terminate our contract with you if payment is not made.
13.2.We reserve the right to change our services.
13.3.We reserve the right to suspend and/or discontinue parts of the services.
13.4.We reserve the right to change our eligibility criteria.
14.1.This agreement constitutes an agreement between you, the client and The Travel Workshop, which supersedes and replaces any other agreement formal and informal.
14.2.You may not transfer your rights or obligations to another person without written consent from The Travel Workshop.
14.3.If part of this agreement is found to be illegal by a court, the rest continues in force. Each paragraph of these terms operates separately. If any court finds one paragraph unlawful, the rest continue in force.
14.4.We reserve the right to enforce this contract at any time. Even if we delay in enforcing this contract, we reserve the right to enforce it at any time.
14.5.These terms are governed by English law.
15.1.These Terms are written in English (UK).
16.1.We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions.
16.2.If these Terms are modified during our contracted work period we will contact you about the changes. If you do not receive notice that these Terms have changed, we cannot be held liable and therefore urge you to check back regularly during our contracted work period.
